“We are really pleased with the tiles, they good value for money but do have some issues. Some one of the tiles arrived chipped, but we were able to use them for the cut tiles. Some of the tiles were also slightly bigger than others which caused an issue with setting out. Overall I’m pleased with them but would always bear the above issues in mind when ordering again.”

“Tile sample wrapped in so many pieces of plastic and bubble wrap that I lost count. Really no regard for the environment, and the tile sample arrived broken anyway. The tile itself was good quality and what I was after, so will be ordering this as a whole, but hope that breakages aren't going to be an issue this time.”

Hi Owen Thank you for posting your review and we are really happy you liked the 60x40 cm tile you received. We wrap each sample tile with enough bubble wrap to ensure the full sized samples reach our customers in 1 piece, as you can imagine tiles are very fragile and although the amount of wrapping seems excessive our customers would prefer the parcel wrapped well rather than having damaged sample tiles, please except our apologies this did not happen on this occasion, we have refunded the original sample order and sent confirmation of this on a separate email for you. Please note, only sample orders are sent by this method using Dpd, all tile deliveries are sent out on a tail lifted vehicle and the tiles securely packed and wrapped on a wooden pallet. “We had endless problems with our order. Delivery not turning up on the selected day, no phone call, text message or email to say why or when they'd deliver. Then decided they would deliver the next day but couldn't have rang the bell, so no delivery again. Driver was making up problems saying I had no drop curbs to my property when I had 2! We have 2 entrances to my house so the driver could've easily drove on and off. Then when the tiles finally did get delivered the box was badly damaged. Upon inspection quite alot of the tiles were damaged too. So we contacted total tiles and they were helpful enough to send some more. Problem was they were damaged too, and so we had to contact them again. Mean while we've had to put off our trades people who were booked in to tile etc our bathroom. Overall total tiles were good in the respect that they send replacement tiles, it's just a shame that the delivery company they use let them down. Update: total tiles have kindly sent 3 spare tiles (incase of breakages in the future) free of charge as a way of apology”

“All good (quality product, well packed, timely replies, etc from TT) but the delivery service by dpd was shockingly bad. We will never use a company that contracts dpd to deliver for them or accept deliveries from dpd again. Their drivers are all bad mannered and incompetent. The company’s customer service is a farce too. TT, you are totally let down by the courier you choose to use. It’s a shame as we like your tile and were thinking about possibly placing an order.”

Hi Marlenka Thank you for purchasing a sample of the White marble effect matt porcelain tile, I can confirm this tile has approximately 7 different screens / patterns which are randomly mixed within the boxes. It appears you have received one of the screens which has the least amount of marble pattern, we are more than happy to dispatch another tile with more pattern free of charge if this helps. “Ordered sample tileq. It's great and was very we'll packaged, but DPD delivery was appalling. On 1st attempt claimed we were out when we were waiting for them. So I tried to contact them. Chat line didn't work and to put in further contact info you had to change the date. Next day they said they claimed they didn't have contact info though had email and mobile number from the start. So I changed delivery to a collection point, but they failed to deliver due to 'unforeseen' circumstances. Finally collected it following day...”

“Samples were delivered very quickly. Main issue was the excessive use of packaging which meant that parcel was a lot larger than anticipated and had to be collected from a collection point.”

Good afternoon, I am glad you received your sample tile promptly and I hope you are pleased with the tile. With regards to the packaging, we need to ensure that the tiles arrive with you in good condition because if they are broken in transit then we have to resend which involves more packaging, more inconvenience to our customers and further costs to ourselves. The couriers which we use require the package to be signed for, unless they are informed in advance of a safe place for the parcel to be left then they are not allowed to leave it unsecured and unsigned - they are not aware of the value of the package and as I am sure you can appreciate, they cannot take responsibility for any lost deliveries. “Well, I ordered One tile sample. Tracking info. fine. Courier delivery-I could not believe my eyes. A Large box......... Very large in fact. Inside the ONE tile was completely swaddled in at least a meter of bubble wrap. PLEASE could you review your wrapping system to develop a one sleeve item with protection. Completely environmentally unfriendly approach to packaging. The tile is lovely!”

“Reasonable sample service, you have to pay but it arrives quite quickly. However, it's all undone by extortionate delivery prices to NE Scotland !”
