“I ordered 25 metres of our tile Calacatta Gold Matt Marble Effect Porcelain, My tile fitter has had a very difficult job with these tiles they have not been very inconsistent in their shape. Some on the corners some on overall width.
Once you have started it is very hard to stop and replace any faulty one. I thought you should know.
I don't think I will be using you again my other choice was tile mountain.”
“Ordered a sample. Was not in for delivery but a notice was clearly visible to leave in porch as was only away for a short time. Item left at a shop some 2 miles away for me to collect????? No option for a redelivery. Therefore poor score due to slap dash courier service”

“I have to write this based on the level of poor service they have provided.
1. Paid for a delivery (allocated time and date) no communication by call or email until I made contact yet was informed this was not turning up.
2. Waiting for items to be delivered as specified on their website contact one hour before service. This didn’t happen and the driver left this on the public highway, road side with no person to take this in (again communication)
3. Items left roadside had my sensitive details which should be held, stored and destroyed in a manner under policy.
4. Customer service in general handlers like to tell you how it is rather than actually listening or assisting. Irony is that they didn’t want to communicate that items are delayed or being delivered.
5. Informed by handler that the company cannot leave this road side and delivery would have to be re-arranged. Took time off out of leave, no delivery. Allocated certain date and time over a week in advance to tile over the bank holiday so
we can move in prior to wedding no chance.
Should have taken my details out of the package and left this in the road and not accepted it. This wasn’t handed too me or signed for by me and lucky I got back and decided to check.
Even though I cannot check every single item as getting married and away for a duration from tomorrow they first seem ok. Apart from a split back of adhesive but didn’t lose much.
Hopefully when I check the items one by one they will all be crack/damage free.”

The points you have raised in this review are down to the service you received from the courier company who delivered your order. I can see our end that the goods were sent out on time efficiently and delivered kerbside as per our terms and conditions on our website.
The customer service representatives did all they could to assist and find a solution that worked well for you. We liaised with the courier company directly on your behalf and provided you ETA's through voicemail as you were not directly contactable. We also provided you with all the information you asked for about the courier company after your goods were delivered, whilst refunding you the full delivery charge as a gesture of goodwill as the order was not delivered on time.
Please let us know if you do have any damages to your order as we will replace/refund these on the next working day service completely free to you.

“Whilst I think that total tiles have competitive prices, and have a great range of tiles and accessories, there turn around from placing the order to delivery is superb, but what lets them down in my opinion is the dispatch / packing department, my last order of only 2 items of which one was incorrect, and when the replacement item was delivered that was damaged.”
“I have no problem with the service from Total Tiles just the delivery - in fact, the ordering and promptness of getting my goods to the courier were excellent. Unfortunately, the courier let Total Tiles down quite badly. I was given an hour slot and as I was at home all day I wasn't particularly worried when the delivery time passed until I received a text telling me that they were sorry they missed and they would call again the next day. They could not have come to my property or read the instructions that I gave because I was working about 5 feet away from the door with a working doorbell. Consequently, I had to cancel my plans for the following day. I was not happy which is why I can only give 2 stars. Sorry”
“The service is fine, but the tiles are terrible. I ordered Rectified White Gloss Wall Tile 300x600, but there are lots tiles chipped on corners. It is also difficult to return them in general if you order online. Think twice if you order tiles online.”
“Late delivery but was refunded granted tiles were delivered which I had no idea they had been until I read my email saying they had been delivered and signed for at 12.20 I read the email at 2.40 and did not sign a single thing”

“A good range of tiles at competitive prices. Prompt despatch of a sample tile I ordered. However, unsettling to find that the tile was full size, packed in an oversize box with a very excessive amount of bubble wrap used to protect it. A waste of non recyclabable resources. Your company would benefit from looking into and research the use of alternative low carbon, recyclabqble packaging and send out smaller samples. Your green credentials could with the right marketing be a major asset to your business and help drive sales”
“I paid for a full sample of the tile we had chosen and was happy to pay £5 for the same. I could not order on line so phoned the office. An extremely nice man went on to say that these tiles were out of stock. Why was I issued with a sample I could not order?”
“Tiles had same finish as some I'd already finished, nothing had changed on web site even displaying old pictures....tiles arrived as planned, couple of days later open the boxes and found that on the colour I purchased the size had changed 20mm longer and 30mm wider.....now need to make my life difficult and herringbone them rather than match the other 3 rooms, maybe worth adding a footnote that these tiles are actually a totally different size so it's clear.....shame really as the product looks great when fitted"alpes roble oak"”
“Bought the Calacatta tiles and was expecting more veining than it has. It appears white in the photos but in reality more grey than white. A dull finish overall which...makes the bathroom look dull. Had I not waited so long for it to be tiled I would have returned them. Disappointed overall.”
